When was the last time, we thought about giving something to the world?

The world is beautiful which has everything in it for us to live a wonderful life. Whatever we have got in our life, we have got because this world has given us. We are living a lavish life with all the comfort of the world because we have been facilitated with it. The world works on the give and take policy. If we have been given this much, our time to give it back has come.
There is no actual data how much we have taken from nature. We have let many people, trees, animal die. We have polluted the air which has become so worst that it is difficult for all the living beings to breathe in. Everything we have done has been done for our comfort. But the question is what have we done for them who have given all this life- pearls to live.
Let’s understand this with a simple example. You get a favor only coz you would have given it first or you will have to give in future. Nobody gives a damn if you are struggling because of the lack of something. You can only get it from someone if there is something for the benefactor unless you both are related as a family or a friend. If you are lending someone money you will expect to get it back otherwise, you may hurt the relationship with the person who owes you. Same thing happens in the case of the world; we need to give something back to the world to maintain the balance of give or take for clean, fresh, independent, brave and lovely life.

There are many people who don’t know how to give back to the world. It is as simple as taking a bite from an apple. If we are cutting trees we need to plant twice the number, we have cut. If we are the reason for the pollution, then we should also become the reason for clean and fresh air. There are certain ways which we could google to know. If you are the reason behind the death of any animal to make products from their body parts, you should adopt or care for animals who are abandoned.

Democracy allows protest, not violence and death with it.

We have seen many popular protests in India. Some were democratic and some were non-violent and undemocratic. Famous Anna Hazare’s agitation for Lokpal Bill in country’s Capital was non-violent and very cooperative. Jat Agitation in country was violent and the government lost crores. And then there were people who went mad over arresting of Ram Rahim Baba. Here also we lost capitals. Before few days farmers were protesting in Maharashtra which was very silent and non-violent. Protests and agitations makes democracy beautiful but on the name of them if you are involved in killing of people how could you justify it. Great Mahatma Gandhi had many shades, his best one was non-violence. However, some people think that there were instances where he should have gone against it. The country lost millions of Capital with the Bharat Bandh today when people were on road protesting against the decision of supreme court in making changes in SC\ST act. Disagreeing with the decision and marchi...

Chapter 2, We played Cricket on mountains

In chapter 1, I opened about how I got into this mass communication. In this chapter I will tell you about the experiences of field. When I was done with graduation, I was looking for a job. Even though I wanted it to be related to journalism but I didn’t get one. There were people back from hometown telling me to find one and utilise my time.   My brother had a friend, who got me hooked with my first job as a content writer which didn’t last more than 20 days. Neither I enjoyed working there nor they paid enough for me to stay. Once, when I was working there I got a call from someone whom I knew from my previous internship asking me to work for a   web portal in Himachal Pradesh. I was more than happy to take that offer into consideration and after talking to my parents I finally decided to take that. That’s how I reached Himachal Pradesh probably one of the beautiful places I have ever been and found myself a dream job. It was really awesome roaming between mountain...
